8 months prior to move:
Select new office space location and sign Letter of Intent.
Appoint a coordinator for all phases of the move.
Design new office layout with architect.

5-7 months prior to move:
Finalize lease with Developer.
Make a complete inventory of all furniture moving to the new location.

4-5 months prior to move:
Finalize building plans and improvements.
Advise the facility managers of both buildings about the move in writing.
Order any additional office equipment and furniture in new quarters.
Order phone and internet access.

2-3 months prior to move:
Divide floor into two or three sections and assign color coded labels to each section.
Advise clients and vendors to new address and location.

Five weeks prior to move:
Arrange with building manager for use of elevator during move-in.
Check building regulations to see if a certificate of insurance is required.

Four weeks prior to move:
Order cartons for use during move.
Arrange a pre-move meeting with mover to discuss all aspects of the move.

Three weeks prior to move:
Meet with employees to advise them of final plans and review the services at new location including parking, move schedules, etc.

Two weeks prior to move:
Label all furniture and equipment with the proper color-coded labels and numbers.

One week prior to move:
Install directional signs in your new office space.

Day of move:
Move coordinator will be on site. Enjoy your new office!
